DP-28 display light machine gun assembled from surplus components on a dummy receiver. Bipod is dated "1940" and barrel bears a "1943" manufacture date. Russian arsenal stamps are visible on some exterior components. This example is accompanied by 3 magazines and a metal DP-28 magazine transit case. 2 magazines are "VKT" marked, with 1 bearing Russian cyrillic characters. All magazines bear a Finnish "SA" property stamp. CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their reapplied finish, exhibiting varying degrees of wear overall. Lower assembly shows areas of silvering and some light patina. Barrel is plugged with a wood stopper and condition cannot be verified. Buttstock shows some scattered handling marks, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
