MG-34 display machine gun assembled from original World War II components on a dummy receiver. Barrel shroud is stamped bears Waffenwerke Brunn's "dot" code above "1943". Receiver cover markings have been ground and bear a contemporary "clc" manufacturer code above "(Eagle) / WaA883" waffenamts. Barrel bears what appears to be a later applied "cra" over an "(Eagle) / WaA11" waffenamt. Most external numbers are matching and are force matched. Gun is mounted with a bakelite butt stock as well as aftermarket black plastic grips. CONDITION: Metal components retain the majority of their reapplied finish, exhibiting scattered handling marks and some light surface oxidation overall. Bore is bright and retains good rifling throughout. Buttstock shows some scattered handling marks, but otherwise appears serviceable. Grips show scattered handling marks and minor losses, with the left grip panel bear a loss at the mid section. A nice non-firing example of an MG-34 machine gun that would make for a fine display piece. MLW
