Circa 1982. 12 gauge 28" chopper lump barrels, 2 - 3/4" chambers. Auto-ejectors, double triggers with front trigger being articulated, automatic safety. Tapered smooth concave game rib marked "CARLTON" with brass front bead. Standard Spanish proofs on the flats. The case color hardened action and lockplates have full coverage scroll and floral bouquet engraving and matching proofs on the water table. The sidelock action features disc set strikers, gas exhausts, cocking indicators, and a right side rolled edge trigger guard. The reddish-brown Turkish walnut straight hand grip stock features drop points, diamond grip, and a vacant golden stock oval ending in a checkered butt. Splinter forend with Anson style push button release. CONDITION: Good. Barrels retains 90-95% original blue. Receiver retains 95-97% case colors. Buttstock and forend with handling marks. Trigger guard retains approximately 90-95% blue. Mechanics crisp. Bores bright and shiny. (CP)
