2nd year production Woodsman Target Match manufactured by Colt in 1939. Left side of barrel is stamped "MATCH" over a bullseye with "TARGET" below and Colt's 2-line address across the top. Left side of receiver is marked "THE WOODSMAN" with the slide bearing the manufacturer and caliber information. Features include a 6 - 1/2" barrel, partridge front sight, adjustable rear sight, and a 1-piece wrap-around Colt checkered wood grip. CONDITION: Very good, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some wear around the muzzle, an area of wear just forward of the trigger guard on the left side, as well as some scattered superficial marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting strong rifling throughout. Grip shows some minor handling marks overall but is otherwise fine. MLW
