Complete commemorative set of Ruger New Model Super Blackhawks with specific engraving of separate African Big 5 animals on each revolver. This is set number 001 released by Mag-Na-Port to commemorate the founder, Larry Kelly, and his accomplishment of successfully taking all of the African Big 5 using a handgun. The lot consists as follows: (A) Stainless Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum with a 6" Mag-Na-Ported barrel. Features a ramped serrated front sight with a yellow insert, adjustable rear sight with ghost ring leaf, serrated and jeweled trigger, serrated and jeweled hammer, and smooth wooden stocks with "SUPER VEL .44 MAG" brass inserts. The ejector rod, cylinder pin, cylinder pin release, grip screw, trigger, and hammer are all gold washed. Engraving of a cape buffalo on the cylinder, "001" on frame before serial number, and Mag-Na-Port logo on top strap. Factory zip tie still attached. Includes wooden display case lined with blue fabric and Mag-Na-Port Patch. Top of lid has Mag-Na-Port logo. CONDITION: Excellent plus with seeming to be only factory fired. Extremely slight storage wear. Box is excellent. (B) Matte Stainless Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum with a 6" Mag-Na-Ported barrel. Features a ramped serrated front sight with a red insert, adjustable rear sight with square notch leaf, serrated and jeweled trigger, serrated and jeweled hammer, and smooth wooden stocks with imitation ivory inserts featuring an elephant portrait. The cylinder, ejector rod, cylinder pin, cylinder pin release, frame screws, trigger, and hammer are all highly polished. Engraving of an elephant on the cylinder, "001" on frame before serial number, scroll on the muzzle, and Mag-Na-Port logo in gold lettering on top strap. Factory zip tie still attached. Includes wooden display case lined with blue fabric, Mag-Na-Port Patch, and imitation ivory featuring an elephant portrait. Top of lid has Mag-Na-Port logo. CONDITION: Excellent plus with seeming to be only factory fired. Extremely slight storage wear. Box is excellent. (C) High polish blued Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum with a 5 - 1/2" Mag-Na-Ported barrel. Features a ramped serrated front sight with a white insert, adjustable rear sight with square notch leaf, serrated trigger and hammer with silver polish, and smooth wooden stocks with imitation ivory inserts featuring lion portrait. Engraving of a lion on the cylinder, "001" on frame before serial number, “SHUMBA” on the backstrap in silver lettering, and Mag-Na-Port logo also in silver lettering on top strap. Factory zip tie still attached. Includes wooden display case lined with red fabric and Mag-Na-Port Patch. Top of lid has Mag-Na-Port logo with a lion portrait. CONDITION: Excellent plus with seeming to be only factory fired. Box is excellent. (D) Matte Stainless Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum with a 4 - 3/4" Mag-Na-Ported barrel. Features a ramped serrated front sight with a red insert, adjustable rear sight with square notch leaf, serrated and jeweled trigger, serrated and jeweled hammer, and smooth wooden stocks with gold background Ruger emblems. The ejector rod, cylinder pin, cylinder pin release, grip screw, trigger, and hammer are all gold washed. Engraving of a rhino on the cylinder and top strap, "001" on frame before serial number, and Mag-Na-Port logo on top strap and barrel. Factory zip tie still attached. Includes wooden display case lined with blue fabric and Mag-Na-Port Patch. Top of lid has Mag-Na-Port logo above a rhino portrait surrounded by a globe. CONDITION: Excellent plus with seeming to be only factory fired. Box is excellent. (E) Matte Stainless Ruger New Model Super Blackhawk chambered in .44 Magnum with a 10 - 1/2" Mag-Na-Ported barrel. Features a scallop bladed front sight, adjustable rear sight with square notch leaf, serrated and jeweled trigger, serrated and jeweled hammer, and smooth wooden stocks with black background Ruger emblems. Engraving of a snarling leopard on the cylinder, "001" on frame before serial number, scroll on the muzzle and frame, and Mag-Na-Port logo on top strap. Factory zip tie still attached. Includes wooden display case lined with brown Swade fabric. Top of lid has portrait of snarling leopard centered on imitation ivory in the shape of African continent.
