Woodsman Match Target manufactured by Colt in 1949. Left side of barrel bears stampings stipulating the manufacturer and patent information, with the left side of the frame bearing the Rampant Colt logo above "MATCH TARGET". Left side of slide is stamped "COLT" followed by stampings stipulating the caliber designation. Features include a high gloss blue finish, 6" barrel, blade front sight, target adjustable square notch rear sight, 2-piece Coltrock checkered thumb rest grips, as well as a Coltrock serrated rear grip extension. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining the vast majority of their original factory blue finish, exhibiting some scattered superficial handling marks and some light edge wear overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Colt rock grips show some scattered handling marks, but are otherwise fine. MLW
