The top of the slide and the grip straps are a matte finish. The sides of the gun are high polish blue finish. CONDITION: The gun retains virtually all of the factory applied blue finish. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. Checkering on the grips is sharp and crisp. REW
