Manufactured in the 1850s by Thomas Bacon in limited quantities, with estimates as low as 200 units produced. Revolver features an interesting under hammer design with a ribbed 3 - 3/4" .30 caliber 6-barrel cluster. Embellished iron frame and plain nipple shield. Grips are 2-piece smooth walnut. CONDITION: Good. Portions of reapplied blued finish are retained in protected areas, with balance turning a brown patina. Pitting present, especially on barrel cluster. Grips appear lightly sanded with handling marks. Good bores and mechanics. PROVENANCE: Ex Rich Guckes. BAS
