Lot consists of: (A) Late production 5-shot .31 caliber pocket size pepperbox made at Worchester with "ALLEN & WHEELOCK" markings on barrel cluster. Simple construction with 3" barrel cluster, unembellished iron frame, and smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Iron components exhibit a pleasing brown patina throughout. Grips are fine. Good bores and mechanics. (B) Distinctive .32 caliber 4-barrel Allen & Wheelock pocket size pepperbox. Features include 2 - 7/8" barrel cluster, engraved iron frame, and smooth walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good. Portions of blued finish are retained with balance a brown patina. Some pitting present. Grips have some minor marks. Good bores and mechanics. PROVENANCE: Ex Rich Guckes. BAS
