Allen & Thurber Fourth Type 6 shot .36 caliber Pepperbox revolver with 6 smoothbore 4 - 1/2" .36 caliber barrels. Engraved nipple shield with barrels marked "Patented / 1837 / cast steel". Case hardened frame with floral engraving and 2 piece walnut grips. CONDITION: Overall good with finish fading to a silvery patina. Good grips. Pitted bores with good mechanics.
