Winchester Third Model 1873 made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1889. 24" octagon rifled barrel with sporting sights, Winchester address, and King's Improvement. Blued frame with plain trigger, integral dust cover rail, and blued full tubular magazine. Walnut plain stock with crescent trapdoor buttplate and matching plain walnut forearm. CONDITION: 70% blue turning a plum patina with edge wear. Traces of original varnish with handling and usage marks. Pitted bore with functioning mechanics. A honest old '73. DLM
