Manufactured in Worcester, Massachusetts circa late 1840s to early 1850s. This large example features a cast steel 5" .28 caliber smoothbore 6-barrel cluster. Single action with a large hammer spur. Unembellished iron frame with nipple shield and round trigger guard. Grips are 2-piece smooth walnut. CONDITION: Very good. Traces of original finish present, with barrel cluster fading to a brown gray patina. Frame exhibits a lighter patina. Grips are lightly sanded with some minor marks. Good bores and mechanics.
