Lot consists of (A) C. Sharps Model 2B variation with 3" blued barrel cluster chambered in .30 RF, brass pin sight, silver plated brass frame, and smooth wood grips. Approximately 3700 of this variation were produced. CONDITION: Fine. Barrels retain traces of blued finish with balance a dark patina. Frame retains significant portions of dark patinaed silver plating. Grips have a dark appearance with some impressions. Dark pitted bores. Crisp mechanics. (B) Sharps and Hankins Model 3A variation with 3 - 1/2" blued barrel cluster chambered in .32 RF, blade front sight, iron frame, and checkered gutta percha grips. Approximately 2500 if this variation were made. CONDITION: Very good. Barrel cluster retains portions of its factory applied blued finish in the flutes, with other areas thinned to a gray patina, which is also exhibited on the frame. Grips are very good with a few minor marks. Shootable bores with some pitting. Firing pin does not rotate when hammer is cocked. PROVENANCE: EX Rich Guckes. BAS
