Contemporary full panel swivel flint lock Kentucky double rifle made by Leonard Day of Massachusetts. 38" octagon rifled superimposed .50 caliber barrels with rifle sights and in a swivel type mechanism. Flintlock marked "L. Day" with single trigger control. Curly maple buttstock with curly maple full barrel panels. Buttstock decorated with engraved 4-piece patchbox with daisy finial and various silver inlays including an Eagle, Hunter's Star, and floral escutcheons. Wood is in good condition with some usage marks. Shootable bores with slightly sticky mechanics. DLM
