Contemporary flintlock Kentucky rifle made by "H. Roist" at an unknown date most likely late 20th Century. 42 - 1/2" octagon rifled .45 caliber barrel signed in script "H. Roist" with hunting sights. Siler style flintlock turned tail single trigger. Curly maple stock with brass furniture, silver oval on cheekpiece, and incised carved floral pattern behind the cheekpiece. Comes with hardwood ramrod. CONDITION: Overall good with metal parts developing an aged patina. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
