Unusual Flint lock Blunderbuss with parts which appear to be from other period guns or similar to them and built at an unknown age. 17 -3/4" steel unmarked typical blunderbuss shaped funnel like barrel with several rings around middle and breech. Flint lock which is very similar to British and other musket locks from the 1790 to 1820 period with no markings controlled with a turned tail trigger. Walnut stock with brass hardware including triggerguard with "Pineapple" finial similar to those used on guns from the Philadelphia Area. All brass engraved nicely and well fitted. An interesting decorator piece or historical arm in need of more research. CONDITION: Overall good with no visible restoration. DLM
