1881 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 63755. Barrel has been shortened to 4 - 3/4". Chambered in .45 Colt with single line barrel address, frame notch rear sight, and replacement dovetailed blade front. Ejector rod head is a replacement. 2 piece imitation Mother of Pearl grips with wood backers. Backstrap is aftermarket engraved "TEXAS 1881". CONDITION: Good, with virtually all of the original finishes turned to a gray patina with scattered light pitting and handling marks throughout. Grips are excellent with no major signs of distress. Action needs some attention as there are only 3 stops on the hammer, with the 2nd stop being slightly rough. Otherwise action is mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with visible rifling. TON
