Lot consists of (A) US World War I Springfield Model 1905 bayonet with scabbard. The blade is marked "US / 1006959" and "SA / Ordnance Bomb / 1918" on the ricasso. The scabbard is marked "JEWELL 1918" and is stamped with the name "F. Snyder". CONDITION: The blade retains most of its original finish. Dulled tip with various chips on the edge. Wood grips exhibit scattered small dents. Scabbard retains most of its original green paint. Metal mounts exhibit a dark patina. Overall good. (B) Imperial Japanese type 99 Arisaka bayonet stamped with the Kokura Arsenal marking on the ricasso. CONDITION: The blade retains some of its original finish. Wood grips exhibit scattered small dents. Scabbard retains some of its original finish and exhibits heavy pitting. Overall good. (C) Very nice example of a pre-WWII German K98 bayonet with matching scabbard. The bayonet is marked "JOS. CORTS SN" and is numbered "6138b". The bayonet is dated "37" on the spine and the scabbard exhibits matching numbers and a 1937 date under the manufacturer. The bayonet is complete with a very nice Imperial German vintage rough side out leather frog. Frog is stamped "133" with an illegible maker mark. The left grip has been customized with a carved swastika and the initials "KVN", most likely by a GI. CONDITION: The blade retains most of its original finish. Tip is slightly bent. Scabbard retains most of its original paint, Grips exhibit handling wear. Frog remains supple. Overall very good plus. (D) US WWI Model 1917 Trench Knife. Triangular blade, with D-guard that features 10 protrusions and a domed skull crusher pommel. Guard is marked "A.C.CO. U.S.A. 1917" on the interior. CONDITION: The blade retains most of its original finish. The guard and blade retains most of its original black paint. Grip exhibits scattered small dents and handling wear. Overall excellent. JLD
