Lot consist of: (A) Colt Officers Model Match double action revolver. Made 1960s. Standard markings on both sides of the barrel. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame, and "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round, steel barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable U-notch rear. Serrated trigger face and spurred hammer. Original checkered wood grips with silver Colt medallions. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with light wear and scratches. Grip has finish wear. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder, with good lockup and timing. Mechanically fine. (B) Colt Officer's Model Heavy Barrel double action revolver. Made 1941. 2 line company address and patent dates on the top of the barrel. Model markings on the left side of the barrel. Rampant Colt pony on the left side of the frame, and "VP" proof on the left side of the trigger guard. Matching serials on the frame and crane. Round, steel barrel with adjustable blade front sight and U-notch rear. Factory blued finish. Checkered trigger face and spurred hammer. Aftermarket rubber grip. CONDITION: Metal retains 90% of its original finish with general wear and handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore has some powder residue, but retains crisp rifling. Action shows signs of firing. Tight hammer and cylinder, with good timing and lockup. Mechanically fine. JWA
