Winchester Model 1886 lightweight lever action rifle made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1902. 22" round nickel steel barrel in .45-70 caliber with integral Lyman bead front sight and notched adjustable rear sight. Blued solid frame with blued 2/3 magazine, plain trigger, and case hardened lever and hammer. Walnut plain shotgun butt with Winchester hard rubber buttplate with plain walnut forearm with blued nosecap. CONDITION: 95% fading original blue with wear on carry areas and corners. 90% original varnish with coat of linseed oil with some light handling and usage marks. Excellent bore and mechanics. DLM
