Made 1895 (per the Winchester Collectors Website). Standard markings on the barrel and top of the tang. Full octagon barrel and tube. Blade front sight and buck horn v-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 50% of its original finish with heavy finish loss on the frame. Wood has handling marks and scratches. Forearm is solid with no signs of cracks. Bore is heavily frosted with a few minor pits. Good rifling retained. Mechanically fine. JWA
