Made by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1941. 24" blued round Winchester Proof Steel barrel with hooded ramp front sight, rear plugged dovetail with Lyman bolt peep. Blued solid frame with plain trigger. Walnut checkered pistol grip stock with blued steel widow's peak checkered buttplate, Winchester grip cap, and Winchester detachable sling swivels. Matching semi-beavertail checkered forearm with 2/3rds tubular magazine. CONDITION: 90% fading blue with loading gate worn silver and magazine tube turning plum and areas turning silver from handling. Wood has been cleaned with light coat of oil added. Missing swivels and sling. Shootable bore with good mechanics. A good solid rifle with a lot of life left. DLM
