L.C. Smith Ideal Grade side by side shotgun made by Hunter Arms Company in 1930. 28" 12 gauge London Steel barrels with matted rib, bead front sight, and extractors. Case hardened featherweight frame with floral Ideal Grade engraving pattern with double triggers and 3 position safety. Walnut factory pistol grip checkered stock with hard rubber buttplate and grip cap. Matching walnut checkered splinter forearm with banjo roller latch and ebony inlay. CONDITION: 90% plus remaining barrel blue from an old refinish with evidence of some pitting with right bore having a pit 3/4 out the barrel. Trigger guard, forearm latch and forearm iron have been reblued. 80% original case colors with fading on handling areas. Wood has been cleaned with light coat of oil applied with forearm having an "M" gouged in the side. Nice looking gun with good mechanics and shootable bores. DLM
