DSP. An early and seldom seen Porcelain Sign from Polarine Oils & Greases. CONDITION: Side one shows very good color and gloss with areas of light scratching in the glossas well as some minor cloudiness in the blue background. Side one shows one added nail hole at the left edge and the flange portion of the sign has been cut leaving chipping and rusting at the right side. Although cut, the sign displays well and has a clean field, Grade 7.5. Side two also shows a very clean field with clean script showing minor surface scratching as well as rub marks in the blue porcelain. Side two shows chipping at the left side where the flange was cut as well as some minimal chipping along the outer edge but overall very clean. Grade 7.25. Although the Sign has been cut it displays well and is free of any major damages in the field. Overall a nice piece of early Porcelain Advertising from Polarine.
