Colt Kansas Statehood Centennial single action rimfire revolver made by Colt Firearms in 1961 for celebration of Kansas Centennial. Gold washed 4 - 3/4" barrel with blade front sight marked with Colt address. Gold washed frame with fluted 6 shot cylinder and plain walnut 2 piece grips. Comes in factory wooden presentation box with red velvet lid embossed with Colt logo in right hand corner and a brass plate with the name "COL. Herschel C. LOGAN"; could be the famous writer from Kansas known for the book "CARTRIDGES - A PICTORIAL DIGEST OF SMALL ARMS AMMUNITION" among others. CONDITION: 95% original gold wash finish with some light handling marks. Appears fired very little. Grips have light handling marks with some small scratching. Box has marks and dings from poor storage. DLM
