DST. Sign is Dated 1947. A nice example of this tin motor oil rack sign from Texaco. Side one shows very good color and glass throughout the field showing minor areas of surface scratching as well as minor age staining in the lighter colors. Side one shows minor wear along the outer edge but overall excellent, Grade 8.25. Side two also shows very good color with heavier staining in the lighter colors as well as some minor areas of light surface scratch. The outer edges are fair condition and overall side two displays well, Grade 7.9. A nice example of this early sign from Texaco that shows an excellent patina type look to it and displays nicely.
