Lot contains: (A) Luftwaffe 1st Model dagger with a "SMF, Solingen" marked blade with moderate runner and scattered marks, as well as light freckling and staining throughout. The blade may clean up. Aluminum fittings have light wear and patina, and and swastikas retain approximately 90% of their gold finish. Blue leather wire wrapped grips has light wear with a quarter inch of leather missing in the center. Fittings are loose and there is a tiny gap between the blade and the cross-guard. Blue leather covered steel scabbard retains 75-80% of the leather with cracks throughout. Aluminum fittings have light wear. Aluminum chain hanger exhibits light wear and staining throughout with a "olc" marked clip. CONDITION: Overall very good. (B) Luftwaffe 2nd model dagger with a "Ernst Pack & Sohne Waffenfarbik" and "Siegfried Waffen" marked blade with light runner and scattered marks. Aluminum fittings have most of their darkening in the recesses, cross-guard is loose, and pommel is off-center. Trylon grip has several 3-inch light cracks with a quarter inch piece missing near the pommel, and wire wrap is intact. Steel scabbard retains 35-40% of its electroplated silver finish, with patina throughout. Aluminum fittings have moderate wear with remnants of white polish. Deluxe hangars are present with a marked clip and moderate wear with white polish remaining. CONDITION: Overall very good. WEZ
