Model 1911A1 .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol with frame serial number 1143944 falling into Colt production in 1943. G.H.D. inspection stamp (Guy H. Drewry), "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marking and Coltwood reinforced numbered checkered plastic grips. Frame has Colt hammer, trigger, and grip safety. "S" for Scovill marked correct magazine. Correct G.I. "P" marked barrel with "HS" proof. Union Switch and Signal slide with Swissvale, Pennsylvania address, correct square notch rear sight and front sight. CONDITION: 90% remaining arsenal parkerizing with some light edge wear. Excellent grips with light handling wear. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
