Borchardt C93 parts kit, manufactured by Loewe in Berlin, Germany. The C93 was among the earliest successful semi-automatic pistol designs that would ultimately go on to influence the design of the iconic Luger. This example is stamped "WAFFENFABRIK/ LOEWE/ BERLIN." over the chamber, with "SYSTEM BORCHARDT. PATENT". Toggle is stamped "D.R.P./ No75282". This example is a unique minor variation, showing up only between serial numbers 230-300, and exhibits "(Crown) / BU" proofs on the right side of the receiver as compared to the left, with "(Crown) / BUG" proofs present on the bottom of the barrel. Matching serial number "292" is present on the frame, sideplate, trigger, spring box, receiver, breechblock, forward toggle link, interior of the grip panels, as well as the magazine. Barrel has been bored out to 9x19mm Parabellum and rear toggle link is not present. Anti-rebound arm and toggle pins are present. CONDITION: Metal components retain bountiful amounts of their blue finish, exhibiting some silvering overall from operation of the action and some spots of thinning showing through to a pleasant brown patina. Grips shows some minor light losses to the varnish from handling and a couple of minor handling marks, but are otherwise fine. MLW
