Octagonal twist off barrels with brass bead front sights, top flat marked "- Williams & Co London - ". Bottom flat has London black powder proof and mating marks, "0" and "3", with bottom of boxlocks marked with matching mating marks and London view proof. Patent breech. Fenced bolster with screw. Rear sight mounted to tang. Boxlock with light floral engraving and floral borders, belt hooks mounted to left side. Swan neck cocks engraved en suite with boxlock. Stalking safeties on right side. Checkered bag grips with a vacant space at rear for vacant German silver oval. Engraved buttcap with trap. Housed in a wooden case with powder flask, bullet mold marked "34", ramrod, oil bottle, combination barrel key and nipple wrench, and a small key which does not fit lock. Brass wrench (?) tip. Top of box with an escutcheon engraved "Chas J. Mitchell". CONDITION: Good. Barrels are a dark grey and have some hints of what may be case coloring visible, with spotted oxidation throughout. Boxlock in commensurate condition with crisp engraving and hints of case coloring. Grips are very good with pistol (A) having a visible crack running from stalking safety to tang, measures approximately 1 - 3/8". Accessories overall very good, bullet mold with evidence of case color on handles, powder flask with separation to seams. EMW
