Octagonal barrel with blade front sight, rear sight machined directly into top strap. Left flat of breech with a very faint "TRANTER'S / PATENT / 2047". Rear of cylinder numbered "63". Spur trigger and spurred frame for web of hand. Light scroll engraving throughout. Sideplate retained by screw. Smooth 2 piece grips retained by bottom cap and screw. CONDITION: Metal essentially gunmetal grey with splotches of oxidation throughout, significant blue retained on bottom 2 flats of barrel. Hammer has been welded at some point to fix break. Grips are dark but solid and free of cracks or chips. Mechanically fine, bore with good rifling and pitting throughout.
