Made by Smith and Wesson from 1917 to 1919. 5 - 1/2" round rifled pinned barrel with blade front sight, "UNITED STATES PROPERTY" marking on underside of barrel and early "GHS" inspector stamp on N frame. Blued frame with 6 shot .45 ACP fluted cylinder, case hardened trigger and hammer. 2 piece plain wooden grips with "U.S. ARMY MODEL 1917" , lanyard ring, and serial number "No. 15330" markings on butt. CONDITION: 80% original blue with some holster wear and turn mark on cylinder. Traces of varnish remaining on grips with light handling marks. Good bore and mechanics. DLM
