Standard configuration MK VI manufactured by Webley in 1917. Frame, barrel, and cylinder bear standard military and sold out of service proof marks, with the left side of the frame being stamped "WEBLEY/ MARK VI/ PATENTS/ 1917". Features include 6" barrel, blade front sight, "U" notch rear sight, and 2-piece checkered vulcanite grips. Rear of cylinder has been shaved down to accept .45 ACP with moon clips (It should be noted that these revolvers were not manufactured to accept standard .45 ACP pressures). CONDITION: Metal components retain large amounts of their reapplied blue finish, exhibiting areas of wear and thinning that show through to brown patina. Bore is bright and retains well defined rifling throughout. Grips show scattered marks from handling and storage, but are otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
