1876 vintage Colt Single Action Revolver, serial number 26440. 7 - 1/2" round barrel in .45 Colt with single line barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Early "donut" ejector rod head. Nickel finish. 1-piece aftermarket plain ivory grips. Matching serial numbers observed on barrel underneath ejector rod housing, frame, trigger guard, and butt. CONDITION: Very good, with an attractive amount of the original nickel plating remaining and scattered areas of storage marks and flaking. Flaking and storage marks are mostly visible at muzzle, cylinder, and rear of frame near loading gate. Grips are very good with appropriate age-related yellowing and no major signs of distress. Mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with minor pitting throughout and well-defined rifling. TON
