1876 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 31401. 7 - 1/2" round barrel in .45 Colt with single line barrel address, blade front sight, and frame notch rear. Donut ejector rod head on blackpowder frame. 1-piece plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Very good, with an attractive amount of original bluing remaining on barrel, ejector rod housing, and trigger guard with honest wear on left side of barrel, right side near muzzle, ejector rod housing, and handled areas of trigger guard/backstrap. Frame retains traces of brilliant case colors in well-protected areas. Grips are very good with no major signs of distress, handling marks throughout, and finish loss at high edges. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling. A well-preserved and early Colt SAA. TON
