Manufactured in 1863 during the Civil War. Features include a 6 - 1/2" .36 caliber barrel assembly with New York address, pin front sight, hammer notch rear sight, fluted 5-shot percussion cylinder, brass grip straps, and plain walnut grips. CONDITION: Good. Traces of factory colors present, with balance of revolver exhibiting a dove gray patina with cleaned pinprick oxidation. Grip straps starting to mellow. Grips have been lightly cleaned with some minor impressions present. Dark bore with visible rifling and some pitting throughout. Indexes correctly. Matching numbers observed on frame, barrel assembly, wedge, cylinder arbor, cylinder, and grip straps. BAS
