Made in 1984 in West Germany by HK as a civilian sporting and utility rifle based on their roller delayed blowback action chambered in .308. It features a polygonal rifled 16 - 1/2" matte finished barrel with hooded post front sight and drum style rear sight. Receiver is also built to accept quick attach HK05 scope mounts, although mount is not present. 2-piece military style figured walnut military style stock with vented handguard, matte finished sling attachment points, and a matte finished stamped butt plate. Rifle is accompanied by an original manual. CONDITION: Near excellent. Light use shown with bountiful amounts of original finishes retained. Some light scuffing present on magazine base and receiver, including where a scope mount was attached. Stock is excellent. Fine mirror bore and crisp mechanics. BAS
