Part of the 1958 Columbian Navy contract, these Danish made Madsen M47 rifles chambered in .30-06 are some of the last general issue bolt action service rifles produced. Standard military configuration featuring a black finished 23 - 1/2" ported barrel, hooded front sight, adjustable peep rear sight, "FUERZAS ARMADAS / DE / COLUMBIA" naval marked receiver, and phosphate finished bolt. Finger groove 2-piece walnut stock inset on left with blued "COLOMBIA / FUERZAS ARMADAS" disc and fit with ribbed rubber butt pad. CONDITION: Very good. Vast majority of arsenal applied finish is retained throughout metal components showing only light use. Stock is good having some impressions expected on a surplus rifle. Fine bright bore displaying crisp rifling. Mechanically fine. BAS
