Steyr Arms model SSG 69 bolt action rifle chambered in .308 Winchester and manufactured circa 1994. Originally manufactured for the Austrian military and their snipers, these rifles were ahead of their time in accuracy and durability. This rifle features a 25-1/2" cold hammer forged barrel, black fiberglass stock with adjustable recoil pad spacers, 5 round removable rotary magazine, and a set trigger. Checkering on the forearm and pistol grip. Harris 1A2 ultralight bipod added to the front of chassis. Attached Kahles ZFM 10X42T scope by quick detachable 2 piece horizontal rings. Butler Creek flip up lens covers on both objective lens and eye piece. Normal manufacture, proof, and importer markings on receiver and barrel with model name filled in red paint. "SSG" on magazine painted over with white paint. CONDITION: Very good overall with almost all original finish remaining. Scope and stock show signs of handling wear throughout. Bright bore and crisp rifling. Slight crack in left button of magazine. Good mechanics. GFP.
