Lot consists of: (A) Circa 1920s tapestry of Charles Lindbergh which was made to commemorate his transatlantic flight. The tapestry features images of Lindbergh, the Spirit of Saint Louis, as well as scenes of New York and Paris. The tapestry measures approximately 55" x 19". CONDITION: The colors have faded and there are scattered stains throughout. Overall fair. (B) Original piece of aircraft fabric from a Curtiss NC-4 flying boat. This particular piece of fabric was removed from the Curtiss NC-4 that was the first airplane to complete a trans-Atlantic flight, which now resides in the National Air and Space Museum. The fabric measures approximately 2" x 2" and is framed with a printed photo of a Curtiss NC-4 and a brief history of the aircraft. CONDITION: Frame exhibits wear. Overall very good. (C) Original piece of aircraft fabric from a Fokker T-2 which made the first nonstop US transcontinental flight and now resides in the National Air and Space Museum. The fabric measures approximately 2" x 2" and is framed with a printed photo of the Fokker T-2 and a brief history of the aircraft. CONDITION: Frame exhibits wear. Overall very good. (D) Original piece of aircraft fabric from the Douglas World Cruiser #2 "Chicago" which was the flag plane of the first round-the-world flight. The aircraft now resides in the National Air and Space Museum. The fabric measures approximately 2" x 2" and is framed with a printed photo of the "Chicago" and a brief history of the aircraft. CONDITION: Frame exhibits wear. Overall very good. JLD
