Manufactured by Fabrique Nationale in the early 1950s as part of an approximately 6,000 rifle contract for Luxembourg in .30-06 chambering. 23" black finished barrel with flash hider, protected blade front sight, tangent peep rear sight, "AL" Luxemburg marked receiver, and walnut finger groove stock with trap butt plate. Complete with a period brown leather sling. CONDITION: Very good. Vast majority of factory applied black enamel finish is retained with some spots of light finish wear. Stock has some light impressions throughout but is overall in good condition. Fine bright bore showing crisp rifling. Action cycles appropriately when worked by hand. Matching serial numbers observed on receiver, top cover, bolt and stock. BAS
