Smith & Wesson Model 25-2 double action revolver with case. Made 1977. Standard markings on the barrel, with company address and trademark on the right side of the frame. 6 shot fluted cylinder. Pinned barrel with ramped blade front sight and adjustable u-notch rear. Square butt frame. Factory blued finish. Case colored serrated trigger and spurred hammer. Checkered, oil finished wood target grips, with silver monogram medallions. Includes original wood display case, with blue velvet lined plastic inserts. Sticker on the inside of the case, under the top insert is serial matching to the gun. Original tools are included. CONDITION: Metal retains 95% of its original finish with a few handling marks. Grips are excellent. Bore is shiny with crisp rifling. Tight hammer and cylinder. Sharp timing and lockup. There is a very light drag line on the cylinder. Mechanically fine. Case is excellent, with the plastic insert cracking in a few places. JWA
