Manufactured 1959. Black-on-black sights with fixed smooth front and adjustable rear sight on serrated sighting rib. Left side with appropriate National Match rollmark, right with Colt address. Distinct skeletonized trigger with overtravel screw and serrated small parts, long 1911A1 grip safety, flat serrated mainspring housing and serrated front strap. Fully checkered walnut grips with inset golden Colt medallion. Full blue magazine. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the factory bluing with some marks from handling and storage. Some silvering to a few high edges, such as top of safety and takedown mark. Spots of oxidation visible to polished parts of trigger and hammer. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with crisp rifling and some light frosting. EMW
