P5 Compact manufactured by Walther in 1988. Left side of slide bears the Walther banner logo followed by "P 5 COMPACT", with the right side bearing an Interarms import stamp. Right side of frame is stamped with a German "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof followed by Walther's date code "II" (88) as well as an Ulm proof house stamp. Frame exhibits a matte black finish, with the slide, barrel, and hammer being blued. Features include a 3" barrel, blade front sight, adjustable square notch rear sight, decocker, as well as 2-piece checkered walnut grips. Matching numbers are present on the frame, slide, and barrel. Pistol is accompanied by its matching factory case, containing its matching factory paper test target, manuals, cleaning rod, and spare magazine. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory applied finish, save for a few minute superficial marks from handling and storage. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Case shows some light exterior wear, but is otherwise fine. MLW
