PA-15 semi-automatic pistol manufactured at the Manufacture d'armes de Bayonne in France. The left side of the slide is stamped "PISTOLET AUTOMATIQUE MAB BREVETTE - S.G.D.G.", with "MODELE PA-15 / MADE IN FRANCE" stamped on the right. Right side of frame is stamped "PA.15.M1" followed by the serial number. French proofs are visible on the right side of the chamber, as well as on the right side of the trigger guard web. Metal components are blued, with the frame being mounted with 2-piece checkered black plastic "MAB" logo grips. Metal components retain a layer of what appears to be their original factory grease. All external and internal numbers are matching. Pistol is accompanied by an original factory box, with the serial number label on the bottom of the box being 1 number off, reading "554112", and containing its original factory insert, matching factory test certificate, factory manual, cleaning rod, as well as an additional magazine. CONDITION: Metal components retain virtually all of their original factory applied blue finish, exhibiting some very light thinning on the grip straps and underside of the frame. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Checkered black plastic grips exhibit few minor marks from handling and storage, with the right grip exhibiting a small loss at the bottom right corner. Factory cardboard box shows moderate external wear and some areas of staining on the interior and exterior, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. An exceptionally fine condition example of a scarce French MAB PA-15 M1 semi-automatic pistol. MLW
