Manufactured 1981 as per serial number. Competition shooting variant with longer barrel, barrel weight with front sight integral to weight, and adjustable rear sight. External extractor, spur hammer, non-thumbprint slide. Matching serial number observed on frame and barrel; no serial number observed on slide. Right side of slide marked "MADE IN BELGIUM / BY BAFRIQUE NATIONALE HERSTAL", left side "BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q.". Pachmayr wraparound grips. Magazine disconnect is intact. Housed in the correct black Browning plastic case with foam lining, and containing accessories comprising manual, extra magazine, extra stamped sheet metal rear sight, cleaning rod, and allen wrench. CONDITION: Overall excellent retaining the vast majority of the parkerized finish with only some very light marks from handling and use. Some stamps have appropriate distension from application. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with strong rifling. Case is fine with foam oil stained throughout but otherwise fine. Magazine and spare rear sight in plastic baggies, possibly never opened, other tools are very good. A great example. EMW
