P88 Compact manufactured by Walther in 1996. The left side of the slide is stamped with the Walther banner logo followed by "P88 COMPACT", with an Interarms import stamp on the right side. Right side of slide bears a German "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof, followed by the date code "KG" (96) as well as an Ulm proof house stamp. Features include a blued slide, matte black frame, 4" barrel, blade front sight, square notch rear sight, as well as 2-piece checkered black plastic grips. Pistol is accompanied by its matching factory box, factory paper test target, manual, cleaning rod, as well as a spare magazine. CONDITION: Near new, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory applied finish, save for only a few minute handling and storage marks. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Grips are excellent. Box shows some wear and exhibits taped repairs at the corners, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
