Model P9S manufactured by Heckler & Koch in 1979. The left side of the slide bears markings stipulating the manufacturer information, model designation, as well as a German "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof followed by the serial number, with the right side bearing HK Inc's importer information. Right side of frame bears a German "(Eagle) / N" commercial nitro proof, followed by Heckler & Koch's date code "HK" (79), and an Ulm Proof house stamp. Frame is constructed of black polymer, featuring checkering on either side with a thumb rest on the left and slide is comprised of steel. Features include a matte black finish, 4" barrel with polygonal rifling, fixed high profile front & rear sights, as well as a manual cocking/decocking lever. Pistol is accompanied by its matching factory box, containing its matching factory test target, manual, as well as 2 additional magazines. CONDITION: Excellent, with metal components retaining virtually all of their original factory applied finish overall. Mirror bore, exhibiting well defined rifling throughout. Polymer lower is excellent overall, save for a small crack present on the left side of the forward frame screw. Box shows some exterior wear and some folding to the label, but is otherwise sturdy and serviceable. MLW
