Third model rifle manufactured in 1888. 24" octagonal barrel chambered in .38-40 with 2-line address on top flat, sporting sight, and full length magazine tube. Plain walnut stocks with steel crescent trap rifle butt plate and steel nose cap. CONDITION: Good. Metal components exhibit a chocolate patina with cleaned, pinprick oxidation throughout. Silvering at high edges and some scratching on receiver also present. Stocks have been cleaned, retaining light impressions throughout. Dark, pitted bore displaying visible rifling. Mechanics are a little loose. BAS
