KD date code for 1993, the first year of production for the USP. Other features include traditional land-and-groove rifling instead of the later polygonal rifling. Black-on-black sight, front is drift adjustable while rear is fully adjustable. Variant 1 with safety lever, decocker, DA/SA action. Standard HK USP rollmark, USP mark, German nitro proof, date code, Ulm proof, and serial number on slide. Matching serial numbers observed on frame, slide, and barrel. Barrel additionally with HK USP marks and German nitro proof. "Heckler & Koch GmbH / Made in Germany" on frame with red infill for visibility. HK Sterling, VA, import mark on frame around serial number. In the original HK grey case with extra magazine, manual, and warranty card. CONDITION: Excellent, showing only the slightest marks from handling and careful range use. Retains virtually all of the factory finises with just a few marks to slide. Polymer frame is excellent with a few marks. Legends are crisp throughout. Mechanically fine, bore is excellent with sharp, strong rifling. Case is excellent, paperwork with some insignificant age staining. Some minor cycling wear to barrel hood. EMW
